VOLUNTEERS

Would you like to volunteer for the Austin Celtic Festival?

Volunteer shifts usually run 5 hours and there are many aspects of the festival in which you can be of assistance. The festival in 2007 will be open from 11am to 7:45pm and volunteer schedules can start two hours before the festival begins and two hours after the festival closes. Some opportunities include Friday for setup duties.

Austin Celtic Festival volunteers receive the follow perks:

* Free entry to the Festival on both days
* One meal ticket and two drink tickets (non-alcoholic) for each shift you work
* One comp ticket for a friend or relative for each day of the festival

Below we have the following volunteer opportunities at the festival. Please email the coordinator for the particular opportunity you are interested in and let them know if you can work Friday, Saturday or Sunday or both days. Some opportunities require certain skills but most do not. You must be 18 years or older to volunteer and you will be asked not to drink alcohol during the course of your shifts.
